Kindle Blogs/Resources

I've started with a list of resources I have found or have had recommended to me by friends. If you know of other online resources that would be helpful to our community, please use the form below and send the information so it can be posted here.
Blogs, Email Lists
  • Free Kindle Books and Tips -  An interactive blog from the author of the best-selling Kindle book Free Kindle Books and How to Find Them, here’s a quick summary of the daily free book offerings from Amazon as well as the thousands upon thousands of books, short stories, and more available for you to read on your Kindle for no charge from numerous sites in addition to Amazon.  This blog also gives you the insider tips, tricks, and information you need for your Kindle! You can also subscribe to receive this information via email.
  • Kindle Daily Deal -  Each day Amazon unveils a new Kindle book deal. Check back daily to see what's next. Deals go live at approximately 12:00 a.m., Pacific time. Individual Daily Deal titles may have additional territory restrictions, and not all deals are available in all territories. (Use link on this page to subscribe to the Kindle Daily Deal email.)
  • Smashswords - "Smashwords is an ebook publishing and distribution platform for ebook authors, publishers, agents and readers. We offer multi-format, DRM-free ebooks, ready for immediate sampling and purchase, and readable on any e-reading device." (The think I like about this site is, by default, erotica books are filtered out of your searches)
  • Ereader News Today - Tips, Tricks and Free Ebooks for Your Kindle
Other Resources
  • Amazon Kindle Support - Your best source for findng help with your Kindle.
  • Your Highlights - When you highlight something on your Kindle, it is recorded here. From this page, you can copy/paste your highlights into another document for future reference, printing, etc (this is the feature that sold me on the Kindle)
  • Calibre - Incredible free tool to organize all your eBooks. Includes conversion tools that allow you to put most any eBook document onto your Kindle. Invest a few minutes to watch the demo video on the first page. YOU WILL WANT THIS TOOL. If you use it, please consider making a donation. (I am in no way related to this project and I don't make a dime from my recommendation).
